WHAT IS YOUR PROCESS?

We’ll begin with a complimentary consultation, either irl or virtually. Please reserve up to two hours and bring along your fiancé, your mom, best friend – or come by yourself. We ask that anyone involved in the decision making try to come along with you.

As you talk about your likes, ideas and the overall vision and vibe you would like to convey, we’ll be working to translate that into your invitation suite. We’ll incorporate colors, textures and your specific wording.

We’ll follow up with detailed a proposal, including timeline, pricing and next steps within a week. Your proposal is good for 30 days. We require a 50% deposit to begin design work for your first proof. After that, the design process can take anywhere between 2 and 6 weeks.

WHEN SHOULD WE GET STARTED?

Make sure your venue is chosen and date secured. Once that’s done, let’s talk! We like to start 7-13 months out for your save the date so they can be mailed 6-12 months in advance.

The ideal time to meet for invitations is 4-8 months before your wedding or event. This allows time for custom design, production, envelope addressing and mailing. We like to mail your invitations 10–12 weeks out.

Day of Stationery, such as place cards, programs, menus, should begin 2-3 months before your wedding or event.

CAN I USE A PARTICULAR IMAGE OR PAINTING?

We love incorporating supplied art into our design. We can also source art or graphics for you if you’re looking for something very specific and totally unique.

DO YOU ONLY DESIGN WEDDING INVITATIONS?

While we focus on weddings, we also design amazing Bar Mitzvah invitations, Bat Mitzvah invitations, B’not Mitzvah invites and social and milestone celebrations. We also love designing reception and party items like custom cocktail napkins, menus, table numbers, seating cards and anything else you can think of!

DO YOU OFFER ENVELOPE ADDRESSING?

Yes, we offer both digital addressing (printed with a font) and hand calligraphy.

POSTAGE

Please bring a complete invitation set to your post office before purchasing stamps. Unless Quintessence Papers is mailing on your behalf or managing your mailing for you, we’re unable to provide a postage estimate. You’ll need to take a complete invitation set to your post office before purchasing stamps.

INVESTMENT

All of our invitation suites are custom so pricing will depend on quantity, complexity and embellishments. Custom invitation suites begin at $2,000.
